I would like to buy a set of headers to fit a 69 skylark with a 455. We have this motor in a 1953 Henry J and this is the set that works. We drag race this car so long tube headers are what we need.:shifter:

set up This isnt BLACK MAGIC. Any engine builder who doesnt do the best he can do on any engine shouldnt be doing it at all. Find a shop who does a lot of competition work. They will fit your needs. Might cost a little more but well worth it.

What oil modifactions are done to a 455 for drag racing?

Has anyone thought of building a tunnel ram for a 455? We run a 53 HenryJ gasser with a big block buick and are entertaining this idea. Any thoughts, suggestions, or experience would help out a lot.

Does anybody know the specs (lift, duration, lobe centers, etc.) for a factory Stage 2 455?

Can anyone tell me the specs ( lift, duration at .050 lift, lobe seperation) for the factory 455 Stage 2 Cam? We have a '53 Henry J gasser with a 455 and were thinking of going to Stage 2 valve train.
