after disassembling my 67 gs 400. I found 1 1/2 angle iron welded forward on the frame used as cross member mounts. (one of the originals is still attached).this tells me it's NOT the stock transmission I pulled out. It also tells me the drive shaft is not stock either.
my engine is a 72 455...
I have disassembled my 67GS down to the frame. there looks to be some add on metal to the frame and I don't know why. My guess is cut all the crap of and get it back to stock. other than the box in done on the rear, well 1/2 boxed in. I need to replace the rear cross member. than what? I have...
I got the moog front suspension rebuild kit from OPG.
they don't carry a moog front spring for 67.
It jumps from '65 to 68.
Anybody know why ?
or anyone know the correct part #?

I have looked up and down the www. for a 67 buick skylark gs radio.
I find quite a few AM only 7298904 Delco some nice, some not so nice.
I read a post about a 67 skylark gs , AM/FM factory radio.
does this exist ? if so..is there a part number?

I have a 67 gs400 and the previous owner installed a 1971 455wildcat engine. I see others doing this same transplant but why?
I would like to put the 400 back in. Is this a bad move?
