    '38 lowering Springs

I got a pair from Eaton. 2" lowered front and back, the rear was a bit lower than I liked so I put a block in to raise it up a bit. That was maybe 3 years ago springs have not set much. Can't lower the front much the grill chin hangs down pretty far.

    cragar wheels for 53 buick

I got grade 8 bolts and ran them thru the back with some loctite. Make sure the center hole will fit over your hub. I had a problem with my 38 Buick. Same lug nuts that are on my 3/4 ton chevy truck.

    Oil coming from dipstick tube

Should not have two PCV valves. The one in the valve cover should be a hose with a filter in the air cleaner, that is the way I always had them. ?

    Buick 38 BIG project

I would get the nose on before you see how far you want to drop it, the nose drops down. Here is a shot of my 38 business coupe with 2 inch lowered springs. I could let you know how far the cross member and front panel are from the ground if you like. "I just went back and saw that you linked to...

    trying to start

Buick had what they called a self starter, and that was the way it worked. The starter switch is on the carburetor, right side rear there should be two wires going to it. I have a 38 and that is the way it is, and I have a button under the dash for a backup if the switch on the carb would not...

    cowl lacing

I have a 38 Buick that I took apart ten years ago. I have found most of the parts, but can't remember how the cowl lacing goes on, mine has the pocket for the wire inside. If someone knows how or were I can find out I would appreciate it.
