    Carbs and linkage for a 2x4 nail

    Has anybody used Edelbrock progressive linkage on their dual quad nail setups?. Are they any good?, do they have good adjustability?. Also, is using a 650cfm Edelbrock carb for the primary and a 500cfm Edelbrock as the secondary, is that too much?. I seem to be getting answers both ways. Thanks

    Nailhead intake identification

    Guys I found an intake manifold on the net that i'm interested in. The problem is that the guy selling it does not know for sure if it's for a 401/425 or if it's for something older. How do I determine (via pictures only) what it is?

    Rocker arm inserts 401

    rod and main clearances 401

    On the quick, does anyone know what the rod and main clearances should be on a 401?. An old parts book I have says .001 to .0019. Seems tight to me.
