73 Buick Centurion rhd steering box and associated parts requests

FYI We have a Cadillac column in our '73 LeSabre. I *think* it is from a '76 Fleetwood, but perhaps that will give some more possibilities to investigate. -Bob C.

That's an amazing car! Wish I had a place in the garage (or even driveway) for it. -Bob C.

    14" drum conversion

When I converted my '69 to front disc brakes, I found out (the hard way) that there are two different styles of wheels - one that works with disc brakes and one that's "drum only". -Bob C.

Correct tire size / aspect ratio for '67 LeSabre?

Either one would work. On our '73 LeSabre we run 225/75/15 but a 70-series would look fine as well. As for "correct", I can't say - but in reality either one would be fine. Some pros and cons to consider (which, admittedly are probably barely noticeable on all fronts), the 75-series will: -...

Paint & Body Shop in Mass (preferably south of Boston)

There is an amazing shop in NH (Dover I think) called Paintworks, they have done many fantastic Buicks in the area... -Bobc455

Suspension modifications before dropping in the bbb

For me, springs are the only thing I'd really think about since there is extra weight (which would cause the car to sit lower, especially since you probably have worn-out springs already). I added a rear sway bar, but took it out again. It made the ride harsh and uncomfortable. I don't really...

    BCA Meet in Danvers, MA

Anyone else go to the BCA meet in Danvers, MA? I didn't make it but my brother did. Have a look at http://www.flickr.com/photos/65093156@N08/sets/72157627156855254/ (I think that link should work, but not positive) -Bob C.

1969 buick special side molding .

I'm pretty sure there are holes drilled to affix the molding, and therefore you would have to fill the holes & repaint. I also don't remember seeing a rear molding like that which ends at the door. I think you might have a combination of 68 & 69 body panels on there. -Bob C.

Trends in "penalty" for using premium gas?

I tend to agree. There are lots of opinions, but for a carb'd, iron-headed engine, I think 9:1 is a good CR (depending on cam design and a bunch of other factors). -BC

    supercharger for my 1980 231?

If I'm not mistaken, I think the series-II 3800's have metric bolts and whatnot, your 231 doesn't. -Bob C.

    Electrical Drawings

Depends on the car. Some cars have switches built into the doors and whatnot, and are wired directly to the seats. Other cars have electrical switches on the seats themselves. And some cars have fancy computers that remember position (for drivers #1 &#2, for example). So there are a lot of...

    68 Buick Skylark Chassis Specs

As far as I know, if they have the frame specifications for a 1970, your 1968 should match perfectly. (But I don't know *everything*)... -Bob C.

TPS - Throttle Position Sensor adjustment

The computer sends 5 volts to the TPS. The TPS will "send back" a voltage which is proportional to throttle position. All you need is a voltmeter to check it, no scan tool required. At WOT you will typically be around 3.9 to 4.5 volts, and at idle I think you'll be around 0.4 volts if memory...
