Does anyone know where I can find a suitable replacement, insulated wire terminal to fix the orange wire that connects to the blower motor for the heat on a 1965 Skylark, Special, Sportwagon? Or advise on how to fix it. Mice chewed mine.
Wouldn't liquid electrical tape be a good fix for that? It looks like a female spade connector, you could cut it off and replace it with a common insulated female connector available from a local parts store.
Thank you for your reply Bob, liquid electrical tape was not something I considered. I was considering a spade connector but that won't completely cover the male end and keep it dry in rainy weather. Just prior to viewing your reply, I did find the correct connector through the AC Delco catalogue along with the part number. Using the part number I was able to order the pigtail through Amazon. I've attached a screenshot from the catalogue in case anyone else needs to find it.
