Anyone Put Dual Exhaust On A 225 V6

My single is going bad (Y pipe too) so am considering buying a header back system (since replacement parts are scarce as hen's teeth) and having a muffler shop do the rest from the exhaust manifolds. Besides I think the oddfire sounds pretty cool with dual exhaust!LOL
10 dollar difference between the 2.5 and 2.25 kits, which would be best?

I haven't done it, but I would choose the 2.25 because the bigger you go, the more likely you will run into a fit problem. If you want 2.5 sticking out the back, you can get the look and sound by just enlarging the last couple of feet.

Thanks for the reply Bob, I was concerned whether back pressure would come into play with the 2.5 but you are right that 2.25 would probably be a better choice.
Now just need to see if the muffler shop wold be cheaper doing the whole system vs me buying the kit and them install and finish connecting it.

I know most shops around here only go to 2-1/4", which I would also suggest would be enough for the 225. That is what we all used to run as kids on everything, 350s, 400s, 454s, etc.. They weren't mandrel bent, and we often put in a cross over.
