Barry Grant fuel regulater part no. 170025 question

Hello, I have had this regulator for years. Ordered a diaphram and puck kit. I noticed when I dissambled the regulator there was no puck. The regulater was pretty clean inside given it's age.

Did all of these regulaters come with pucks?

Where does it sit or attach to in the regulator?

I know nothing about your regulator. I would suggest you contact the manufacturer. Personally, I would put it back together using the new parts that match and try it. If it works, it probably right. There are often extra parts included in rebuild kits. Perhaps yours is an earlier or later model which doesn't use all the parts.
