can anyone tell me where i add fluid or bleed system for my convert, 69 buick electra , are the windows hyd maybe

Hello Joe.
The pump/motor is located just behind the rear seat and can be accessed either from the trunk or by removing the front of the well liner. At the resovoir end of the unit there will be either a rubber or a metal plug. If you leave the unit in place and fill the resovoir to the level of the plug, that will be the correct fluid level. Be sure to use the correct fluid for your car. If the current fluid is red, it is automatic transmission fluid; if it is clear, it is hydrolic fluid. If you need to bleed the system, the easiest way is to run the top up and down several times, running the pump a little beyond the normal to get the air bubbles worked through to the resovoir. Then top off the fluid level again. This procedure make take a few refills to accomplish a complete bleed. Good luck. Feel free to contact me if you need further assistance.
