Digital Speedo shows "error" at mileage-counter

Hi,

my digital speedometer at a 1987 LeSabre shows "error" at the mileage-counter and "000" at the trip-counter. The speed-display and all other displays work fine. Any ideas?

There is no one in germany who can help, so I try here. Thanks for your help.
