Edelhoser 800 CFM carb - Edelhoser 800 CFM carb

This carb was brand new with a tuning booklet and a few spares. Has dyno time and about 50 miles on it. Electric choke. Theres a Q jet adapter plate included. It wouldnt fit with my air cleaner and hood. $200.00 plus shipping.

Also a V6 or V8 manual bellhousing. I used this exact model behind my 455 (465 CI) build and its a perfect fit for an 11" clutch and a 455 flywheel. Comes with ball stud for the fork and correct bolt (if I can find them) $100.00 plus shipping. Its been cleaned...

I'm assuming you are referring to an Edelbrock. Do you have a model number? I'm very interested. How would you like to be paid and how would you ship? I'm in the Minneapolis area so UPS wold probably work. Maybe even the postal people now that the holidays are done with.

I should mention that between GENTLEMEN who are with me on this, the price is $200.00 plus shipping which will be additional. I play on the honor system. Paypal for the package and it goes out tomorrow. Shipping cost to be determined and billed via another invoice. Really guys, its a few miles to the Post Office to get a cost for the mail... it is what it is! No charge for boxing materials either. Bill in TR

Hi Larry, Thought I would hear from you re: the 800 Carb. Still for sale? Could you email me or something? Thanks.
Tom

I didn't respond because I was waiting for you to tell me how to contact you. Not that familiar with Team Buick communications. Hoping to find an email address or phone # or something. Sorry.

I thought you were going to send me info on how to contact you so I could buy the carb.I've been waiting for you. Outside of this forum I have not figured out how to make contact with a member. Help!! Thanks. Tom

Sorry Tom... I thought I PM'd you. In the top title bar on this page is an envelope and a bell. If you get a PM (private message) it should post an alert, like a small #1 in a red box. Click on that for messages. So, since Im NOT a secret agent, emails work good for me. I ship via post office.

Contact me at yachtsman36@charter.net I have many pics of the carb and usually have my camera with me so I hit about 10-20 pics a day. Anything else you need to see, Ill help as much as possible. Bill in TR

Tom is buying the carb. Like me, he has trouble adapting to the techno geek society we are forced to accept. I remember snail mailing polaroid pics cross country for Model T Ford parts. Weeks at a time. I guess thats one positive point. But at least the mail wasnt CENSORED like some other FORUMS we know LOL... ws in TR

Sure, its me, thanks again for the trouble for sending it Bill. Still thinking of putting in the 455 in the '64, but would the 8.2 rear end take the torque?

The 8.2 is plenty strong unless you have over 500 HP and are planning on racing the car with slicks.
