Fixing Windows

My father-in-law and I have a 1946 Roadmaster that needs some window love and could use some help. The driver's side windows are each off of the track and need to get back on. We took the door panel off of the rear door and fiddled with the mount for the main panel of glass but couldn't get it to align in the vertical track due to the mount being in the way (pictured below). The front door requires new vertical track along the column. We haven't taken the panel off yet but anticipate similar issues. 1946 Roadster Rear Driver's Window.jpgAny advice, suggestions, tutorials would be appreciated for this and the front driver's window!

Here are the pages from the '42 shop manual detailing door disassembly procedures. The '46 manual is just a small supplement covering minor upgrades on the '46s. The adjustment procedures on the door parts are also given on other pages in the manual. It would be a good time to pickup a copy of these manuals on eBay. They're worth their weight in gold.

Also attached are a couple of typical exploded parts views of the doors from the Master Body Parts book.
