Hi From Northcentral PA!

Good mornin',
Just been asked by an elderly gentleman friend to sell his body-on restored 66 Buick Skylark convertible with power everything. Having some trouble decoding the cowl tag. Photos below. Any help would be most appreciated. Done a good bit of research on the internet & on Team Buick, but not able to find all the specifics for this particular trim tag.
I will also post this vehicle in the Classified area. Could I ask the group what your thought are on a value (a high to low range) for this automobile. Many, many new parts with power everything and 310 Wildcat/auto. Unsure of miles but probably 100K plus. Paint my be incorrect......was it originally red? The link to my PhotoBucket Album for this vehicle with 84 images is: http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/u...r/100_8221.jpg

Thanks a bunch everyone!!!!

Here is the photo of the cowl Tag:

04C 457
66 44467 BAL 1602
182 K6
RC 2

04C = third week of April production
457 = ??
66 = 1966 model year

4 44 67
4 = Buick
44 = Skylark
67 = 2dr convertible

BAL = Baltimore, MD plant

1602 = should be a trim number ... which should be three digits. i don't see any "160" or "162" codes for the interior, so i'm confused.

the rest of the numbers are option codes and i don't have those.

310 Wildcat = that's a cast iron 2 barrel 300ci small block Buick v8. closely related to the turbo v6 engines that terrorized Corvettes in the 80s, the Buick 350 and the Land Rover aluminum v8, among others. "310" is the torque rating.
