Keyless entry

The procedure is really simple if the diagnostic Data Line Connector socket under the dash can be located. The installation of a fused jumper on two pins of the connector puts the car's receiver in the learn mode. The car's keyless entry system learns the signals put out by one or two keyfob transmitters.

The data line connector is located under the left side of the instrument panel behind the sliding door in the sound insulator. There are 16 pins arranged in two rows of 8.

Programming steps:
1. Turn ign. switch off.
2. Connect fused jumper between pin 4 (black) and pin 8 (black/white) on the Data Line Connector. Fuse is for protection in case of accidents--5 or 10 Amp size should be OK.
3. Turn ign. switch on
4. Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK button on one transmitter. Doors lock and unlock.
5. Repeat step 4 using the other transmitter. If only one transmitter is being used, go to step 6.
6. Disconnect jumper from DLC.
