Hi all!

I figured if anyone here is able to answer something it is you guys...

i JUST BOUGHT A 1958 Buick Special. NO Rust, original seafoam green paint, 41,000 miles and MINT hubcaps and chrome and stainless and totally complete. The car sat in the garage from birth until now (only driven 10 years)

Problem is...It has weak stiching on the seats. The fabric and vinyl itself is good and strong but does anyone know if you can get the seats re-stitched to re-use the original materials?

Thanks!

Kent Karemaker

PS I only paid $500 Cdn for the car! It seriously looks like new!

What a great find at a great price!
I would think an upholstery shop could handle that.

Hello Kent.
Yes, you can have the seat upholstery restitched. If you have any concerns about the fabric or the vinyl, this is the time to have any section replaced. Original vinyl and fabric is still available for your car, however, if you just want to restitch the material, go for it. There should be an auto upholstery shop in your area that is willing to take on the project. If not, please email me and I will try to set you up with one.
Best Regards,
Ron
