I have been told that the ring and pinion in my rear end is badly pitted and should be replaced... Anyone know of where a set can be obtained? Don't want to change the gear ratio if possible.

I know, but none with the 2.78 ratio that I am looking for.. It only has a 2 speed automatic transmission.. Don't want to have to rev that hard on the highway
You could use a 3.08 ratio in conjunction with a taller tire to get there.
Call Jim at jdrace. He can get you what you need, probably at a better price. Sumitt and Jegs may not list it in their catalogs but they can pronbably get it. You have to call though.

Thanks.. Fortunately, I just found one here in Mass that I can pick up in good shape.. I appreciate the info! Always amazes me how helpful people are with stuff like this! Have a great weekend.
