Hi all....
I have a 1969 Skylark custom Conv. and right now it has tires on it that are 215/75/14. I am wanting to replace all four. I am thinking about doing staggered sizing...bigger on back and smaller on front. Will 225/70 work on the rear and 205/70 on front. I know the fronts will work, but I am concerned on the rears so they fit in the wheel wells. I would be happy with a little taller in the rear also....... I do not have the car with me as it is in the shop 2 hours away for certification. What is the biggest size tire without mods in the rear, using the 14 inch rims? These are the rims that are on the car when I bought it.....
