V-8 identification

I just acquired a '80 Regal Turbo Coupe (parts car) The turbo v-6 has been replaced by a big ol' red Buick V-8 (350 4bbl). Where and what numbers on this engine would help me identify it. I'm told it was from "71 Regal".
