little Update to my Car..., it runs still great..and i enjoy it..,but meanwhile I switched over to a couple of new Stromberg Big 97 on my comp Carb manifold. Runs awesome with it.., more power in midrange and turns easy to the 5 thou rev range. It was a little tricky to find the best jet setup...

For the rear shocks I would try to get the oem brackets from the 38 model year, they have tube shocks by factory. The lower one is on the bolt on Coil bracket and the upper one is a simple angled bracket that is bolt on top on frame. In front I have Custom made upper A Arms for make room for...

180 Horses aren'tn't possible with the single carb and siamese intake and the small single exhaust. Also our straight Eights are torque- engines, from there come the main power. For powerfully 4000 rpm you need many rare parts to realize it.. especially on a 248 with the poor Oilfiltration...

You have only a (somebody has selfmade) yellow mark on the flywheel ?...there is no visible iron ball that pressed in ?
