1950 CONVERSION HYDRAULIC top and windows TO ELECTRIC.. Help!

Hi All!

I've a 1950 Buick Super Eight Convertible and she has hydraulic top and windows:

I would like to make an Hydraulic/Electric conversion,
could anyone tell me wath parts I do have to order?
Are there any kits?

Thank You!
Luca

I'm interested in the same question for the door windows on a 52 Special 2 door tourback sedan deluxe. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the passenger windows are fixed and don't roll down...

There are units available that replace hydraulic cylinders with electic screw lifts. They come in many sizes from many companies. The question is, are any available with 6 or 12 volt dc motors. I don't know, but one company to contact is Motion Industries, a supplier of almost anything used in the building and/or maintenance of factory machinery. They have outlets in all major cities and most minor ones. They're also on the internet. I've used them for stuff as minor as distributor bushings. Measure the cylinders you want to replace and give them a call.
