263 in my 38 coupe, first run

Next Sunday i would start to fix all together ,
No time before.
yesterday i got the new Bearing and for save i check all sended thinks imediately , and damn.. ..its a wrong one....the long one pivot for the impeller side is 5mm too short :clonk:(too long wouldnt be a problem, i can cut it)
After a call he will send me the right one, hope it arrived me this days.
The Seal in my wished size is not to find..
Now i have found a hightemp/ high pressure seal in 16x 37x 7 mm.
For that i must grind the pumphousing a little bit, but its very less 0.5 mm in dia (= 0.019 ")

Its springtime an cant drive ...that makes me.crazy..

The Car runs still absolutley awesome...
My reliefed Coupe accelerate like a beast ..:D
dangerous !!.. especially if the streets are wet...,spinning wheels are in the 3. speed, at lower rpm ,without problems possible.
man...what a fun ....

The attempt with my 2 waterpump seals in a row wasnt satisfied, the first inside the housing run with one of theyr both lips in the (only !) groove on the shaft and the outer seal wouldnt stay completly in the housing.
After two attempts with differend glues inside the housing , im disassembled the pump one more time and let only one seal inside , now in the middle of the housing....
Now it works ....(still :D)
The reason for this Experiment is :
i will fix my waterpump by myself , with "easy-to-get"-parts ...
Now the attempt goes on ...

little Update to my Car..., it runs still great..and i enjoy it..,but meanwhile I switched over to a couple of new Stromberg Big 97 on my comp Carb manifold.
Runs awesome with it.., more power in midrange and turns easy to the 5 thou rev range.
It was a little tricky to find the best jet setup for Idle, mains and especially for acceleration.
Had to Ream out the biggest available mainjets and create later also a couple of custom pump Lever for faster moving while acceleration, because of a lack of power while fast acceleration.
I think, it was so difficult to find the right set up with the Jets, because if the long runner of the intake manifold and the lighten up Flywheel..,means my engine is willing accelerate faster up then the carbs can deliver.
Al this I had worked out with a air/fuel ratio meter, that's fit nice n my big radio delete hole and is completely hidden from a old looking cap while not in use.
All in all..
All works fine and looks period correct. 🙂✌🏼

Greetings Jenz
