I have a 1955 Road Master. 322 nail head. What type of carburetor came with car? I can’t check what is on the car, in storage.miles away.

Where can I find the info on the '73 Boattail carb?? I cannot find my repair manual but I must have had one. It is not a Carter or a Stromberg I do not believe. If it was either, I might have the info on it, if I knew
the model number. There is no model ID on the carb.

The original carburetor was a Quadrajet,

Carburetors and Throttle Linkage, 1973 Buick Chassis Manual (Scroll Down to Rochester 4MV Page 6E-120)

This is a steal,

So it's a Rochester 4MV. Thank you. For some reason I have not disassembled this carburetor or at least that I can remember.
More familiar with the Carter from this era. Have got my '73 Riv started after about 10+ years finally. But does not want to idle
at all. Need to remove the carb and go through it. To relate a little more about my Riv, mine has a sunroof which is kind of rare.
Why I stopped driving it was because of the sunroof. It was shut and sealed with Silicone. But I wanted to get it operational.
But I never could!! The rear portion of it would not raise into position. I finally decided that there must be some parts missing.
But now I want to get this girl fully functioning again. Am going to modify the track assembly if I have to. Feel there must be
some missing wheels missing when the slider door reaches it closed position to raise up on the ramp. Literature on this ramp
is very scarce or rare, and was the first year of it's manufacture. I thought it interesting that I did not find any transmission fluid
on the dipstick. I ended up added three quarts of fluid! Apparently this stuff must evaporate when setting for a long period. The
tranny worked fine when I parked. And it does seem to function now thank God. I am gettting a two car garage to better store
this girl in and will be delivered this next week. When inside I will again tackle the sunroof etc. Does anyone have a picture of
the original radio that was installed? I also removed it at the same time but now can't find it. I am sure I still have it. I want to
fix it and get it installed also. When I get the girl all cleaned up I will take a picture of it and post it. It is all original with original
paint & upholstery which is blue. I found it when it first appeared in a local wrecking yard and convinced the owner to sell it to me.
Can't remember how much I paid for it, but think much less than $1000.00.

I have two manuals of same print. One has engine, transmission oil and notes I've written in it. The other one doesn't.
