Mine has a dent that is impeding crank rotation.

Would like to swap and repair original correctly.

Take a piece & of wood, a 2x4, & hit it with a big hammer & knock out the dent. A rear sump pan for a "Nail" will be kinda costly IF you can find one that someone is willing to sell/part with. I'm almost willing to bet you should be able to fix it as they are pretty tough.
