Timing cover condition - thoughts?

Hey Folks,
I pulled my timing cover the other day, and it doesn't look too bad. The area behind the water pump has minimal pitting and it looks pretty good over all. I'd rather not buy a new one if it's not needed. The outside does have some small surface cracks that look almost like peeling paint. I hit with a wire brush for a better look.
So to all you gurus who have dealt with these before: Is this one OK to reuse?
Thanks very much!

All the corrosion/pitting in the back where the impeller pumps coolant is starting to erode away. The area where the coolant travels is also eroded away so the water pump will not flow the amount of coolant nec. & will cause cavitation.
Really needs a new cover.
Just my thoughts.
