transmission or torque ball?

How or if can I tell if a trans seal or the torque ball is leaking? 1957 Buick century. Also will the trans fluid travel to the rear end?

If fluid is escaping from that area it will be wet there. YES, fluid can get into the rear end usually from a worn seal OR a seal improperly installed.

Hello.Here in Sweden a man says that drill a hole in tube at lower near the axle?The best in my mind is to put in new seal in tube.Stubbe in Sweden..
