What modern 12" Clutch kit can replace my old one on 248 eng. 1938 special?

I need a new modern 12" clutch kit to my 248 engine. If possible a stronger one to stand the extra torque it has. Please let me know where to find a 12" clutch kit.

Thanks in advance,
Glenn

1995 Jeep Cherokee worked in my 1950. Warmed up 263[ about 290/10 to 1 cr] and has been good for ten thousand or so.

Thanks a lot Ben and good to know :) I do believe the 263/Jeep Cherokee clutch is might too high. 248 is 2,3" 263 is 2,75".

But Ben, He said "new, modern", and 95 Jeep is so-o last century! Doesn't time just fly when you're havin' fun? Like, I just put that modern engine in 40 years ago, and now it's an antique!

If it fits & works properly what's the diff. what it came out of/is used for. Here a guy gives his experience for 10K + miles. And compared to 1950 is "new/modern" by 45 years.
Just my thoughts.
