A few months back I posted my diagram for the mods on my 57 Buick and the feedback received was very helpful. I have updated the diagram below and added a pair of DERALE 18Amp Electric Fans to the Champion Aluminum Radiator. In order to avoid an overload to the Ammeter circuit, I have fed them directly from the Alternator. The Alternator is capable of 110Amps as opposed to the old Generator's 35Amps. I would really appreciate any feedback and perhaps this little contribution would help other enthusiasts to make some of these mods. Here it goes!
PS: I also moved the Battery to the trunk for better weight distribution (reduce understeer?) and I know, the cable is a 2 Gauge feeding a 1 Gauge. The 2 Gauge cable is capable of the reduced load placed by the modern mini-starter.
