    1967 GS400 Tach

    Yes it was optional. My 66 GS didn't have the tach either and when I found a original tach the wire and connection was there under the console ready to go. Please post some pics of this 67GS!

    Do you know what car it came out of? Also this casting numbers info came from the 350 section on the engine links on this forum. I think the #1 on your block was cast on the weak side and can't be seen?? Unless its a replacement block which might explain the X

    On the rear of the engine block up top to where the tranny bolts to you should see the # 55 The "2" 5's can be different in sizes. I believe that is the 350 block. If it's a # 455 then its a big block I also believe.

    425 NailHead rebuild-Need advice

    Wow, I cannot believe you got back after all these years:) Really sorry for the issues though and especially the divorce.. So the 425 rebuild never got started? and now it's gone. I would look for another 401 or 425 Nailhead. They are just so nice to look at and make a ton of low end torque...

    Your the running the Q-jet on the street for better driveablity and gas mileage?? I googled the AED 1000 HO carb and it says it pretty happy on the street..
