I have a 2001 Century that is having trouble with its windows. The passenger side automatic windows is not working. I have taken off the panel and it looks as if the drive for the window (namely the chord) is out of line or broken. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Note my letter of 4/27 concerning rear windows on my 2000 LeSabre.......only solution offered by Buick is to replace motor and/or other mechanism to the tune of $350-$450......good luck!!

and replace them you will..... alot.

i've replaced 1 on my mom's car (pass. front), 2 under warranty (drivers front, pass. rear) and it sounds like the drivers front is about to give out again  . All dealer parts.......on a side note so far on all I've replace (customers cars too) have been broken regulators (cables), but they sell you the motor/reg combo and now I have a few good motors in my box.

I bought window motor for '96 Skylark off e-bay, best price...less than $50.

Should have noted that it was a new motor, I think it came from A-1 auto parts , "buy it now" deal. I have been happy with it.
