64 Skylark Engine swap?

Hello i got a 64 skylark an was wondering what engine i can drop in it. I was thinking of buying a crate engine since i am going toward a performace vehicle. I heard that you can drop a 455 in there but that it too much trouble nad that a 350 would be easier. Any feed back is welcomed and appreciated.

I am trying to get a 64 Skylark. If I get it I am going to put in a 401. May not be the type of motor you want, but with just a little tuneing it will haul *** in such a small car. If you wanted a little more you could hunt down a 425.
