Camshafts

I am interested in what you plan to do for your roller lifters? What have you found to make the intallation easiest?

I hadn't started looking into cams, I was figuring on a base circle modification and using the original as a blank. I would have thought that they would be cast steel and able to be built up if neccessary.

I started a thread about 2 years ago about offering roller cam billets/blanks for these engines. The cams are the easy part, but like Bob said, the lifters are going to be the interesting part of the equation.

Thanks for the site. I'll look into it. I suspect if we ran a dry-sump, we could get one done pretty easily. The drive gear is the problem. We run a crank trigger, so it's not a problem there. Just searching for info at the moment.

Also, Roto-Faze, Joe Panek. That's the old ignition place, but they will do a vintage camshaft also.
