The car still has the original 3 tone paint. White top, green middle, white bottom. The green is light. I thought it was willow green, but I noticed the the code for willow green is "M"

What would "X" stand for?

Also, what else can you tell by decoding my cowl tag?

Thanks

The X indicates Nile Green Iridescent, a color that was introduced mid-year in the spring of 1955. Due to the late introduction, it appears in the 1956 paint chips, even though the color was used only on 55 models for a few months. See the chips for 1956 to check out the shade.
