Cleaning up the hulk!

I have a body and body parts with some rust, old repairs, and old undercoating (uck).

It would be nice to have it stripped showing its old damage, taking the rust to a point where I just need to nuetalize it, and no undercoating left. There are, of course hard to reach areas inside the doors to clean up.

I have heard of "medi blasting", and having the body "dipped". Could someone explain what these systems are, what are the pros and cons, etc.

Media blasting
-It is generally the same as sand or bead blasting, but uses beads(media) with different properties(ie: bead size and hardness).
-this allows more control over how much material is removed.

Chemical dipping
-involves dipping the body parts in a chemical solution that strips everything that is not metal(ie: paint, rust, bondo)
-this method is cheap, effective, and quick, but what you're left with is what you get.It may, or may not be swiss cheese at the end.
