It is a challenge to find replacement parts specially if obsolete. I put together some pics, because we like them more than reading. A flasher on a 60s buick may have this recommended AP273S in 63 with a bimetal design, thermo circuit breaker. We can see how we end up with this #552 more abundant to find today. The EL12 is latest technology not a thermal circuit breaker design, instead it has a capacitor in the clear housing.
