Fuse Cluster 1968 Riviera + Dash Lights

Hello,

i just made my introduction and have the first questions:

The previous owner seemed to be more the driver than the handyman, since the steering wheel was about to come off, but never mind.
The whole Dahs lights are down, only the high beam control and the turn light indicators are working.
The gas gauge is showing permanently 1/4 of fuel left, even with the battery disconnected, but on the opposite the temp gauge is not working. That equals it...
Ok, the gas gauge may be dead, but the Dash lights may be fuse related.

Please help me, where is the fuse box located in this car? I owned already all 3 shop manuals for the car, but they dont reveal this secret.
I dont want to rip anything apart and do damage... Thank you!
Yes, this is my first US Car, please be gently. If you have any Mercedes vintage car questions, please feel free to ask ;-)

Best regards from Germany,
Heinz

The fuse panel is mounted on the cowl under the drivers side of the instrument panel.

Welcome, Heinz.
I also have a 1957 Mercedes 219 and might have some questions down the road;). Good luck finding the fuse box! should be obvious when your under the dash near/above the pedals Viel spass mit dem neuen Buick!
