Need advice on how to troubleshoot generator cutout problem on 1926 Buick Standard. Generator will produce 18 amps only if cutout contacts are manually closed while engine is running. If RPM drops real low, cutout opens but will not reclose when engine speeds up. Cutout has only two wires - can anyone confirm this is correct? Wiring diagram, maybe?
