Hello,My name Is Phil, I have been a car guy all my life! My first car was a 1967 Buick sportwagon with a 400cid engine and a three speed manual transmission. It was given to me from my parents when I was 15, all I had to do was put a timing chain and a clutch in it to get it running and I could have it. At one point I ran a 14.78 sec. in the quarter mile with that car. I also had a 1986 Buick T-Type Regal that I bought new and loved for years. At 52 years old my 1970 El Camino is not very good at entertaining friends and my truck was not much better. I Have never owned a convertible and I had been looking for the right one to come along. I found a 72 Skylark GS that I liked a lot and bought it last week. Red with white interior.
