Good Afternoon,
We just purchased a 2001 Buick Park Avenue, while I realize this board is mostly for collectors etc. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me if it is possible to install the trip computer option (i.e., the 4 or 5 buttons on the left next to the steering wheel) on a car that did not have the option put in at the factory (i.e., my older Deville had a module that could be simply plugged in after the cover was removed, is this the same with the Buick Trip Computer (could I go to a junk yard and pull one out of a wrecked 2001 and plug it in after removing the button cover)). Any help with this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.
