Power steering PowerBrake, or not ??

Hi,

I´m from Germany and owner from a 1958 Buick Special 4 door Sedan.

How I can know my dream car have a power brake and power steering or not.

I´m a newbie and need help.

The brake pedal have NOT the letter Powerbrake, but maybe in last 56 year someone change it??

I want to restauration my Buick and want to order the right parts.

Welcome to the Team Buick forum.

Power brakes will have a round housing between the master cylinder and the firewall. Power steering will have a belt-driven pump mounted on the engine and hoses going from the pump to the steering gear.

If it doesn't steer like a Mack truck while trying to park the car it has power steering. If the pedal pressure is not to great upon stopping from 60MPH (KMH) it has power brakes.
I only speak, write & understand English so you're not doing so bad.
