First of all, thanks for any answers. Have a 1990 Regal Gran Sport w/3.8L engine. Inherited the car from a friend who moved back to NH. The story is that he ran over a stop sign and broke the sign post. The remaining post about 5" above the ground pinched the power steering line on the left side near the bottom "A" frame. (Sorry if I get the terminology wrong.) It's the part of the body that the power steering line is mounted on up front. George drove the car home with the pinched lines and blew out something out under the driverside firewall. R/R the pinched sections and now the power steering fluid is leaking out of this grey plastic boot that goes from the engine compartment through the driverside firewall. There is a white seal on the inside of the grey boot that is loose. Not sure if it had a clamp on it or not. I'm lost as to how to repair it. what am I missing?
