Hello, I want to use my 1970 455 quadrajet on my edelbrock intake, the problem is that the intake has no well for the choke spring to sit in. Is there a surface mount set up that will work? The intake has two holes, one threaded, for mounting something under the choke linkage. Thanks

without seeing pictures, your carb is probably set up for a chock stove that sits down in the manifold right now, and you need to change the stove for one that sits on top of the manifold like a Chevrolet.
