I got a great deal on some of the dress up spark plug covers. My only question now is, how do you put those on?
The 264/322 that used them had a boss cast into the side of the head for them. SO to put them on later heads you have to make an L shaped bracket and bolt it through the side of the head into the rocker area.

My '56 Century has a 1955 264 V-8 that has the spark plug covers. The side of each cylinder head has two horizontal 5/16' or 3/8" studs, about 3 inches long. The studs go through a couple of holes in the spark plug cover and wing nuts on the studs hold them in place.
