Stuck Rear drums

I bought a 10 bolt posi rear with rear drums stuck so badly the rear will not turn. I want to remove them for teardown, but I cannot move the starwheel adjuster because it is rusted so badly. Any suggestions for removing the drums without damaging them?

If there is no other way to get them loose locate the head of the hold down pins and cut them off which will allow some movement.

The drums will probably be rusted to the shoes and to the axle shaft so spray some penetrating oil around the center of the drum where the axle shaft pokes through, then use a big hammer to tap the drum (don't hit the wheel lugs) Hit the part that mates to the axle flange and this should pop it free.

go in a round motion around the drum with a big hammer until the go loose
