Looking for information on the rear u-joint on how to remove, service it Thanks for any info. Its 1952 Buick Special Standard Trans20231101_120639.jpg

I haven't worked on this before. See the Library on Teambuick home page. The workshop manual 4 of 17 gives a description and good clues on to service. I attached a pic with two possible areas of focus. You'd have to do the discovery.

I've done it decades ago, and I don,t remember!
Looking at what you have and looking at the chassis manual, your joint on the end of the drive shaft should have a tapped hole in it and it looks like you have removed the bolt and washers. you should guard the threaded hole by putting the bolt only back in, or some other means. Your puller will not work as is. The screw has to push on the end of the drive shaft where your bolt is protecting the threads. You may find your puller too unstable to do the job. I could be completely wrong
Looks like you have it on the bench, take the housing off for a better look.
