65 skylark Oil psi problems. I had heads and crank done 64 4bbl alm intake on 65 factory cast 300 block. New main bearings lifters mild poston cam(orig bearings) I installed a mellings hi vol oil kit. Had too much psi and reduced. Drove 250miles started losing psi at idle. Then rocker noise. Replaced cover pump assby with used one same deal I herd some head shops will accidentally remove an oil gallery pluug and install one with no oil passage in it. I herd now that the alm intake can be used on cast heads but need to plug up exhaust cross over? Or what will happen?ikinda thought my pump kit chewed housing but I tried a donor but no oil psi idk. Any help?
