65 lark...with the 300 eng....got a dragon fire HEI with coil mounted on top of Distributor...gonna change to 8mm wires.....I know HEI needs 12volt constant on star/run mode.../ can I use the red/hot wire to the OEM coil(since it is going )to power HEI ?? Also I know to gap plugs .40-50....but...

I just bought have a 65 skylark with the 300/310 wildcat ran good a week ago but got it home and now won't stay running when put in gear( super turbine 300)....I put it in park and restart...let idle for a minute...then stalls when put into gear...any suggestions what to look for or where to...
