1970 Skylark two door post car with adjustable vent windows question

Hi all. My question is are the doors on a post (sedan) skylark physically different in size from a thin pillar Skylark or
GS?
Secondly, I rarely see Buick posts skylark like I do. The thin pillar design looks better in my opinion. . Was a post Skylark manufactured because it cost less?
Or a bear bones entry level car? My car came new with a rubber mat instead of carpetting.
Thank you

The best door for any car is a post, it seals to the body well and supports the side window well. The thin pillar and convertible is done to look better, not for function. I don't know that you will find anyone who can answer your question, regarding size, but I expect they are. You may run into sealing issues around the window. If you try it, let us know.
