1972 Skylark "Bad to the Core"

Hi All
I have a guestion and hope I can get some answers. My heater core is leaking and has to be replaced. I have no idea of how to get to it. Do you acces it from the engine side or the dash side? I heard it is a big job but someone has to do it. I've had this car for 30 some years so I should get to know it inside and out. Can anyone give me some advice????

CarsInc, in NJ, has heater cores for '63 up to '76, for $69 - $98
