My heater is not working. Any ideas on what I need to look for? I just had the radiator flushed, and it seemed to help a little bit, but just warm - no heat like it used to do.
what is the engine size? vehicle mileage? daily mileage? did this condition begin suddenly or did you notice a gradual loss of heat over a period of time? this could be a clogged heater core or a weak thermostat. lets try to eliminate some of the obvious possibilities:
have you ever added 'stop leak' to the rad?
do all of the blower speed positions work?
set the fan at high speed and move the slider from heat to defrost to vent. is there a change in air volume at the different locations? no change would indicate a vacuum leak somewhere.
have you noticed a difference in the 'feel' of the control sliders?
do you have good a/c?
