2 Barrel Air Cleaner Question

I have a 1971 Buick Skylark with a 2 barrel carb and i was wondering if anyone knows if you can change the whole entire air cleaner system and loose all the tubes and what not that are hooked into the block and such. It just looks dorky...help me out if you know what sort of breathers and stuff i could put in to make it look a little cleaner and get rid of some of those tubes.

I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE BUT I DO KNOW THAT WHEN YOU GET RID OF THE DORK SNORKEL DONOT PLUG THE HOLES WITH A SOLID GROMMET I KNOW THIS MAY SOUND STUPID TO POST BUT YOU WOULD NOT BELIVE HOW MANAY PEOPLE GET RID OF THE STOCK AIR CLEANER AND PLUG THE VALVE COVER HOLE AND SUCH.YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU DONT MIND REPLACING BLOWN OUT GASKETS.GOOD LUCK
